Welcome to Steven L. Romero - State Farm! We invite you to visit our office, give us a call, or reach out via our website or text. With my extensive experience in the insurance industry, I can provide you with the right options for your needs, whether it's for you, your family, or your business.

Let me share a bit about myself. I have worked in the insurance industry for many years, starting with a company where I was licensed in 32 states. This background allows me to easily identify the right options for you. I grew up in Pascagoula, MS, attending Resurrection Catholic School and earning my Eagle Scout with the Scouts of America. I later attended the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science before pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Philosophy with a minor in Computer Science at Mississippi State University. Thanks to the Gates Millennium Scholarship, I was able to complete my studies there in 2018.

Following my time in Chicago, IL, working for a State Farm agent, I decided to open my own agency and return to the Gulf Coast, where I can make a difference in the community that helped shape me. At Mississippi State University, I met my wife Lauren, and we share our lives with our 18-year-old Basset Hound, Daisy.

We are proud to be licensed to serve Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee, with a special focus on the coastal counties of Jackson, Harrison, and Hancock, MS.

Kara truly embodies the notion that like a good neighbor, our office is there. Kara has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and as such, is adept at keeping our office running smoothly! Lauren P. Romero is the Customer Relations Representative here at Steven L. Romero State Farm. Lauren started her career in insurance after she realized she could do what she loves most, and that’s helping people. Lauren loves to combine her love of teaching and learning with helping and educating our customers with any and all of their policy needs. Lauren is a lover of all things creative and has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Mississippi University for Women as well as a B.A. in English from Mississippi State University with a minor in Sociology. She decided to enter the insurance industry in 2019 when her youngest daughter, Emma, was born because she realized the value and importance of having great insurance. Her favorite thing about being in this career is having the ability to listen to our customers and create a truly needs-based holistic approach to crafting insurance plans and helping people actualize their goals. Felicia has a B.A in Communications with an emphasis in Marketing and handles all of our social media accounts! She is a Jackson County native having grown up in Pascagoula, Mississippi and currently resides in Ocean Springs, Mississippi with her husband Cody, and their two daughters, Tabitha and Emma.
